The Hokimiyat of Namangan region hosted a meeting with a delegation from the world’s largest electronic online trading platform, led by the Vice President of Alibaba Corporation, Chris Zhou.

According to the Hokimiyat, the head of the region Shavkat Abdurazakov noted that this cooperation benefits both parties and that the local authorities will provide all the necessary support.

“Namangan is located in a convenient part of the valley, where seven regions of three countries are located, with a population of 12 million people. We have qualified personnel and specialists with modern skills. IT Park is a convenient place to implement this project”, the head of the region said.

Chris Zhou said that he came to Namangan not in vain. “Namangan will become a regional center for the export of textile, industrial, IT, and agricultural products”, Alibaba’s Vice President said.

Following the meeting, the head of the region acquainted the guests with the buildings and facilities of the Namangan Branch of IT Park proposed for the Alibaba Regional Center.
