Specialists from Robert Koch Institute and the Charite Clinic have arrived in Uzbekistan within the framework of the project “Advanced training for medical and technical professionals to work with modern high-technology equipment in Uzbekistan”, implemented by GIZ.

The delegation will conduct workshops on the diagnosis of COVID-19, exchange experiences and opinions on the development of the laboratory complex of the sanitary and epidemiological service.

At the workshops of the sanitary and epidemiological service, which will be held in Tashkent and Nukus, the main attention will be paid to improving the fight against COVID-19, increasing the potential of medical workers.

The project will be implemented within 4 components. One of them is to improve the skills of medical professionals in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
