Workshops aimed at the development of inclusive education
Within the framework of the program “Development of English language learning in Central Asia”, three-day training workshops, “Advocates of inclusive education – creation of a module aimed at ensuring inclusivity in English teaching”, based on the AELLCA program, were organized at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhan Beruniy.
The participants are discussing the concept of modern inclusive education, developing an appropriate English teaching module, and sharing their practical experience. International experts conduct the workshops.
“During the classes, the content of the module and its evaluation criteria are reviewed”, says Professor Franz Hoeritzauer from the UK. “In addition, attention is paid to creating an effective curriculum, evaluating the effectiveness of using design thinking techniques in the educational process”.
The workshops aim to improve teachers’ professional level, expand educational opportunities, and introduce international best practices into practical activities.
