As part of the development of the media environment and to share advanced knowledge, the Public Foundation for Support and Development of National Mass Media, together with the French Embassy in Uzbekistan, held a workshop on “Media management: The basics of effective media management – the France 24 method”.

The event was attended by about 100 media industry representatives: chief media editors, journalists, bloggers, and experts.

The main speaker was a well-known French journalist, Editor-in-Chief of France 24, and Director of the Academie France Medias Monde, Mr. Antoine Cormery.

The workshop was held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend in person and through Zoom online.

Mr. Antoine Cormery spoke in detail about modern trends and principles of effective management in the media with practical examples from the activities of France 24. Particular attention was paid to the organizational structure of the channel and the methods of its work in the international news space.

The question and answer session allowed the participants to discuss the aspects of modern media activities in more detail and receive individual information on issues of interest.

The event contributed to an intensive exchange of experience, expanding the participants’ professional skills and strengthening partnerships between professionals from Uzbekistan and France.
