Women scientists from Uzbekistan win 4 gold medals at the KIWIE 2023

On July 20-26 this year, a delegation of women inventors from Uzbekistan visited the Republic of Korea to participate in the Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition 2023 (KIWIE 2023).

The event was organized by the Korean Women Inventors Association (KWIA), the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The international exhibition aims to study and encourage the achievements, experiences, and new technologies created by women inventors in science and technology. Over 400 scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs from more than 40 countries participated in the KIWIE 2023 with their inventions and innovative developments in various fields of engineering, technology, medicine, food, light, and chemical industries.

The Committee on Family and Women Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan recommended the inventions of women scientists of the country for participation in the International Exhibition, Competition, and Forum held this year in South Korea.

Members of the Uzbekistan delegation participating in the KIWIE 2023 demonstrated their achievements and innovative products.

The inventions of Uzbekistan scientists aroused great interest among the visitors to the exhibition and were also studied by international experts.

Participants from different countries also showed great interest in inventions and innovative products presented by members of the Uzbekistan delegation.

Members of the Uzbekistan delegation also took part in the international forum organized within the framework of the exhibition.

In KIWIE 2023, they won 4 gold medals, 2 special prizes in medical and technical areas (Grand Prix), 7 silver, and 1 bronze medals.
