People with disabilities and limited capability that need housing were studied in makhallas of the region, a list including 181 women of this category was formed. Large industrial enterprises of the region have concluded employment contracts with some of them, based on home-based work.

During the events organized in the city of Shirin, 12 affordable residential buildings built on the basis of new projects were put into operation, the keys to 8 of them were handed to women in need, as well as women in whose families there are persons with limited capability.

Keys to houses on new projects were solemnly handed over to 12 women in need from Bayaut, 13 women from Gulistan and 15 women from Mirzaabad districts. Owners of new houses were also presented with household items.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairperson of the Women’s Committee of the country T.Narbayeva, Khokim of Syrdarya region G.Mirzayev addressed the event.
