Uzbekistan Business Women Association “Tadbirkor Ayol” together with the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan organized a forum “Women and Business: Leadership and Entrepreneurship”.

It was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, experts, heads of regional branches of the association, female entrepreneurs, media workers.

The forum participants were provided with detailed information about the ongoing project of the U.S. Embassy Small Grants Program to enhance economic opportunities in 64 regional branches of Uzbekistan Business Women Association “Tadbirkor Ayol”. The project provides for a 5-day regional workshop for women leaders from Andijan, Bukhara and Samarkand regions.

The regional branches of the “Tadbirkor Ayol” Association unite about 17 thousand women. Over 200 specialists work voluntarily. Regional branches are led by experienced, high-potential female leaders.

The participants of the forum exchanged views on the activities planned for the future.
