The best paddlers and canoeists from 35 countries vied for victory at the World Cup stage in Copenhagen.

The two-time world champion Vadim Menkov and the experienced athlete Serik Mirbekov were second to no one in 500 meter and 1,000 meters distance, while in 200 meters distance our double won the silver medal.

The 17-year old talented sportsgirl Dilnoza Rahmatova earned another medal of the highest value in competitions for 200 meters distance.

Another experienced canoeist of ours, Gerasim Kochnev, came second to claim the silver medal in single competitions at the 1,000 meters distance, while at the 5,000 meter distance he earned the bronze.
