Russia hosted the 62nd International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). 623 students from 110 countries took part in the Olympiad.

According to the results, a student of the secondary school No. 5 of Bukhara region, Diyorbek Tolipov, won a silver medal, and a student of the International Mathematical School, Olimjon Olimov, from Bukhara – a bronze medal. Another student of the International Mathematical School of Bukhara region, Doniyor Ismoilov, was awarded a special diploma.
