President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a resolution on encouraging winners of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games in Türkiye’s Konya and their coaches.

According to the resolution, a one-time cash reward has been established for winners for their contribution to improving the international image and authority of Uzbekistan with their victories achieved at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held on August 9-18, 2022 in Türkiye’s Konya, as well as the coaches who trained them, further state support for the broad involvement of young people in professional sports.

The athletes will receive a one-time cash reward in the amount of $5000 for gold, $3000 for silver, and $2000 for bronze medals, as well as their coaches $2500 for gold, $1500 for silver, and $1000 for bronze medals.
