The 25th World Military Triathlon Championship was held in the city of Samarkand at the Silk Road International Tourism Center. The event brought together 120 athletes from Uzbekistan, Belgium, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, Slovenia, Switzerland, Qatar, Russia, Iran, Portugal, and Kazakhstan.
The competition was organized under the auspices of the International Military Sports Council (CISM) with the support of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, the Triathlon Federation of Uzbekistan, and the Samarkand Regional Hokimiyat.

The events were held in three categories – individual, mixed, and senior, with athletes competing for sets of medals, the Ministry of Defense reports.

Individual competitions were held among professional and senior athletes, where participants covered 750 meters of open-water swimming, 19 kilometers of cycling along an international standard course, and 5 kilometers of running through the historic center.


According to the overall results of the competition, the first place was awarded to the national team of France, the second place to the team of Russia, and the third place to the national team of Uzbekistan.
The participants were duly awarded.
