Will American vaccines be required to fly or travel abroad
20:12 / 2021-08-16

The Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a briefing with the participation of a member of the Coronavirus Counteraction Headquarters Sevara Ubaydullayeva.

It was noted that a citizen of another country must comply with the requirements of the country to which he is traveling, and, of course, it is advisable to be vaccinated according to the list of vaccines of that country. It is also very important that the arriving foreigner is not a carrier of COVID-19.

However, if a person is vaccinated at the first stage with the Uzbek-Chinese vaccine, then he needs to receive all the other doses. Many countries have this vaccine on the list. A citizen can visit any of them.

If this vaccine is not included in the vaccination list of the country to which the citizen plans to go, then 3-6 months after full vaccination, he can visit a family doctor and receive the appropriate vaccine after checking the state of antibodies and his health.

Uzbekistan has an electronic system for conducting logistic distribution and monitoring the vaccination process. It tracks the number of citizens vaccinated, as well as the exact amount of vaccines available to ensure timely replenishment of medical facilities.

A citizen vaccinated with Moderna is entered in the logistic list and the date of the second stage of vaccination is indicated.
