At the press conference held at the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, detailed answers to these and other questions were given.

This event, organized by the Central Council of Uzbekistan Youth Union, was dedicated to the implementation of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures of improving the provision of housing for young families actively participating in the country’s public life” of September 11, 2019.

It is known that one of the largest projects of Uzbekistan Youth Union is Youth Houses project, aimed at providing housing for young families actively involved in public life of the country.

It was noted that in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, for young families actively participating in the country’s public life and in need of separate housing, 3604 apartments were allocated in 2014-2016, 2668 were allocated in 2017-2019, a total of 6272 apartments.

At the press conference, information was provided about the Youth Houses, the construction of which is planned in the country in 2020.

In connection with formation of an openness mechanism to answer the question of who can buy an apartment on preferential terms, for some time the acceptance of documents from young families for the purchase of apartments in the Youth Houses was suspended. Now accepting applications has been resumed. Young families can submit documents in any district of the capital to local commissions. Currently, more than 500 young families have submitted documents for the purchase of apartments in the Youth Houses, which will be built in the city of Tashkent.
