In January-June 2024, 65 thousand foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan for commercial purposes, the Statistics Agency reports.

Compared to last year’s corresponding period, their number increased by 42 thousand people or 2.8 times.

The number of foreign citizens who entered Uzbekistan in January-June this year for commercial purposes:

Turkmenistan – 37,942 people;

Tajikistan – 21,451 people;

Afghanistan – 1,569 people;

China – 723 people;

India – 582 people;

Türkiye – 529 people;

Kyrgyz Republic – 385 people;

South Korea – 329 people;

United States – 199 people;

Russia – 157 people;

Other countries – 1,102 people.
