Early this morning, a welcoming ceremony was held for the national youth boxing team of Uzbekistan, which secured first place in the overall team standings at the 3rd Asian Youth Games held in Manama, Bahrain. The team won a total of 10 medals: 5 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze.

The welcoming ceremony took place at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov and was attended by officials from the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, members of the public, parents, and coaches. It was noted that this victory at the continental games demonstrates the strength of the rising generation in Uzbek boxing.
