Welcome, Navruz!
14:00 / 2024-03-21

Navruz is a symbol of nobility, love, mercy, and renewal.

Although the new eastern year begins with drizzling rain and the equinox of day and night, Navruz is still dear to every person.

Winter is over. A beautiful spring awaits everyone ahead. People thank the Creator and wish such holidays to continue for many years.

Regardless of when and how Navruz started being celebrated, it has been proven that this holiday is fully scientifically substantiated and was formed considering the laws of space and nature. The entry of the Sun into the constellation Hamal, the extension of the daylight period, the awakening of nature – all this was perceived as Navruz.

This year, Navruz coincided with the holy month of Ramadan. This month especially many noble deeds are carried out. The resolution of the Head of state “On the preparation and holding of the nationwide holiday of Navruz in 2024” gave a particular mood to the holiday.

As noted in the resolution, in the conditions of New Uzbekistan, where human dignity is placed above all else in society, attention to priceless resources – land, water, nature, and the thousand-year-old traditions associated with them – is increasing.

In the current complex and unstable situation in the world, the tremendous humanistic essence of Navruz, its immortal ideas, creative spirit, and philosophy, calls on humanity to live in friendship and harmony, value peace, make life even more beautiful and prosperous, and meet the noble aspirations of different peoples of our planet. Navruz, which, with its unique qualities, serves goodness and progress, is recognized by the United Nations as an international holiday.

This year, the nationwide holiday of Navruz is being held in Uzbekistan in the format of folk festivities under the motto “With you, Navruz, the world will be illuminated with light!” Before the holiday, a nationwide charity hashar was held. In all regions, people did landscaping and gardening and visited lonely people and families in need.

The Head of state visited several mahallas in Tashkent. His noble initiatives testify to the humane spirit and social orientation of the country’s irreversible renewal processes.

Navruz is a symbol of nobility, kindness, and mercy. And it is valuable to each of us!

Welcome, dear Navruz!
