The next day of the 2024 IWF World Weightlifting Championships took place in Manama, Bahrain.

Uzbekistan’s Sarvarbek Zafarjonov, performing in group A in the weight category -89 kilograms, lifted 171 kilograms and won a bronze medal.

Earlier, Muhammadqodir Toshtemirov, in the -81 kg weight category, won silver and bronze awards.

As part of the World Championships, which will run until December 15, the Uzbekistan national team members Sharofiddin Amriddinov and Ruslan Nuriddinov will participate in competitions in the weight category -109 kilograms. Tursunoy Jabborova will compete in women’s competitions in the weight category -87 kilograms.
