Uzbekistan national weightlifting team members departed for Türkiye to attend the final stage of training camps on the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Uzbekistan weightlifters, under the guidance of head coach Bahrom Mendiboyev, will participate in training camps in Antalya until August 5 this year. Then, they will travel to Paris.

According to the Olympic Games Program, the weightlifting championships will be held from August 7 to 11 at the Paris Expo Porte de complex.

Notably, 120 of the most talented weightlifters in the world are competing for prizes at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games. Akbar Jurayev (102 kg), Regina Adashboyeva (81 kg), and Tursunoy Jabborova (+81 kg) will defend Uzbekistan’s honor in the championships.
