Young weightlifters of Uzbekistan achieved significant success at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships in India.

According to yesterday’s competitive day results, Uzbekistan athletes won 2 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze medals. As a result, the Uzbekistan team has 18 awards: 3 gold, 8 silver, and 7 bronze.

On August 1, Lyudmila Elefteriadi and Marjona Abdumutalova will perform at the continental championships.

The Asian Championships, with the participation of about 300 athletes from 30 countries, will run until August 5.
