According to the visit program, bilateral high-level talks were held in Kuwait City, and meetings were held with the country’s leadership, government officials, and heads of leading Kuwaiti companies and financial institutions.
The talks focused on expanding cooperation in key areas such as trade, innovation, investment and finance, green energy, industrial cooperation, agriculture, transport and logistics, infrastructure, urban development, healthcare, and more. Enhancing cultural, humanitarian, and tourism exchanges was also a key focus. Additionally, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kuwait discussed pressing issues of international politics and regional cooperation.
A package of joint documents and agreements was signed after the negotiations.

On February 19, during a meeting with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, who visited Uzbekistan, handed over to the President the gift of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Al Saud to the multiethnic people of Uzbekistan – a piece of the sacred Kiswah of the Kaaba. During the conversation, special attention was paid to improving the quality of conditions and services provided to Uzbekistan pilgrims and ensuring that their visit to Saudi Arabia is safe and comfortable.
For your information, approximately 461,500 Uzbekistan pilgrims performed Umrah in 2024. Thus, Uzbekistan ranks tenth in the world regarding the number of pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia.

By the President’s decree, a one-time cash reward in the following amount will be awarded to:
– $10,000 to each participant and disabled person of the Second World War;
– 25 million UZS to each person recognized as equivalent to a participant of the Second World War;
– 3 million UZS to each of the labor front participants of the war period from nineteen forty-one to nineteen forty-five.

The United Kingdom fully supported Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO.
In this regard, in London, a meeting took place between the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for WTO, Azizbek Urunov, and representatives of the British government. At the meeting, the British side confirmed their full support for Uzbekistan’s accession process to the WTO.
