Webster University launches its academic program in Samarkand

A meeting with scientists from Webster University led by the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, International Campuses and Initiatives of Webster University Peter Maher was held at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.
Important agreements were reached on training personnel in cooperation with Webster University and Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages this year. In May, representatives of Webster University visited Samarkand and got acquainted with activities of the Institute. In late July, Samarkand scientists visited the United States.
American scientists conducted a workshop for teachers of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, and shared their experience in teaching English. In addition, a decision was taken on organizing short-term courses on Uzbek language and culture for Webster University students and attracting American professors and teachers to the educational process of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages.
