The National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a webinar for heads of structures of the Ministry of Justice, Prosecutor General’s Office, and Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Saidov, Commissioner for Children’s Rights A. Yunusova, and others.

Main trends in the implementation of the state policy in human rights in Uzbekistan, provisions of the National Strategy for Human Rights of Uzbekistan, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2020, international human rights standards, and their observance and implementation of international standards for the activities of law enforcement officers and protection of children’s rights were noted at the event.

The event will contribute to improving human rights literacy in the courts and law enforcement activity.
