21:29 / 2025-08-06

As part of the development of bilateral cooperation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Germany, Dilshod Akhatov, met with Minister of State for Europe at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Gunther Krichbaum.

During the talks, the German side highly appreciated the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in the political, legal, and socio-economic spheres. The importance of supporting Tashkent’s initiatives aimed at strengthening good-neighborliness and stability in Central Asia, as well as ensuring regional security, was emphasized.

Special attention was paid to the issues of further deepening the political dialogue, expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation, as well as the development of cultural-humanitarian ties. It was noted that in recent years, bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Germany have reached a qualitatively new level.

The parties expressed their readiness to expand regular dialogue at all levels and to continue active cooperation within the framework of existing mechanisms of intergovernmental and interparliamentary cooperation.

The meeting in Berlin became another confirmation of the mutual desire of Tashkent and Berlin to strengthen their strategic partnership comprehensively.
