The UN 2023 Water Conference is a landmark event, its goal is to accelerate the resolution of the crisis in water supply and sanitation, which affect billions of people around the world.

The conference, organized in New York, is timed to coincide with World Water Day. National governments and stakeholders from all levels of society will collaborate to make voluntary commitments to accelerating progress on SDG 6 and other internationally-agreed water-related goals and targets. These voluntary commitments will form the Water Action Agenda, designed to deliver rapid, transformative change in the remainder of this decade. 

Among the participants of the UN Conference are the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and the Aral Cultural Summit, an initiative aimed at promoting cultural dialogue and creative solutions for the revival of the Aral Sea region.
