Today, October 27, 2024, is the day of elections in Uzbekistan. Deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and Local Councils are being elected.

We visited the 362nd polling station in Shaykhontokhur district of Tashkent city to observe the election process.

All conditions have been created for voters to vote at the polling station. An opportunity was also designed for observers and media members to follow the process.

According to Bakhodir Mirfayozov, Chairman of the precinct election commission, the district’s Uqchi and Olmazor mahallas are attached to the precinct. 2,737 voters were registered.

At 08:00, the polling station was opened for voting under the national anthem.

In the presence of the precinct election commission members, the ballot box was shown to be empty and sealed in front of the observers.
