On July 9, 2023, an important political event – the Early Presidential Election, took place in Uzbekistan. The voting process began at 8:00 a.m. and ended at 8:00 p.m.
2,014 citizens were registered at polling station No. 576 in Tashkent’s Yakkasaroy district. More than 80 percent of them took part in the elections and voted for a worthy candidate.
Representatives of political parties, the general public, and international observers observed the voting process. In particular, 23 international observers visited this site. There were no comments from the observers.
Observers from among the representatives of political parties were also provided with necessary conditions.
– I took part in the Presidential Election as an observer, – says the Chairman of Yakkasaroy District Council of the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” Farkhod Saidov. – All observers from the four parties at the polling station were given equal conditions. There were no illegal situations during the voting process.
The voting ended at 8.00 p.m., and the precinct election commission members began counting the votes. Observers are also monitoring this process.
