Today, on April 30, 2023, an important political event – a referendum took place in Uzbekistan. The event started at 08:00 and ended at 20:00.
3,371 citizens were registered at the 131st referendum polling station in Mirabad district of the city of Tashkent. More than 90 percent of them took part in the referendum and expressed their will.
According to the Chairperson of the referendum polling station Shakhida Imamova, the polling station covered two mahallas – “Tong Yulduzi” and “Furkat”. Residents actively participated in the voting.
The voting process was observed by representatives of political parties, the public and international observers.
Conditions were created for voting in the homes of 42 representatives of the older generation and persons with disabilities who could not come to the polling station for the referendum.
The voting ended at 20.00, and the members of the precinct commission started counting the votes.
