Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (with residence in Moscow) Dang Minh Khoi, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Accepting the credentials of the Ambassador, Vladimir Norov congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him successful work in a high and responsible post.

Current issues of the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Vietnam were discussed during the conversation. The readiness of the parties to further intensify ties in the political, trade-investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres was confirmed.

The parties noted the friendly and trusting nature of the meeting and expressed confidence that through joint efforts interaction will continue to develop for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
