Vladimir Norov receives the Ambassador of Argentina

On June 23, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic (with residence in Moscow) in Uzbekistan Eduardo Antonio Zuain, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The meeting began with the ceremony of presenting credentials by the Ambassador to Vladimir Norov, who wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Argentina.

The readiness of the parties to intensify a constructive political dialogue was emphasized. Proposals were considered to expand the legal framework of cooperation, develop parliamentary diplomacy, conduct inter-MFA consultations, as well as coordinate efforts within international institutions.

The Ambassador informed about the interest of Argentina companies in implementing joint projects in Uzbekistan in various fields.

Eduardo Antonio Zuain informed that Argentina is following with great interest the implementation of the Development Strategy of the New Uzbekistan and welcomes the transformations carried out in the socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life of the country.
