Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov met with the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, in Riyadh.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of bilateral relations.

The course of implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level was considered.

Views were exchanged on the schedule of upcoming events, including the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the next round of consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries.

The importance of taking joint measures to increase the indicators of trade turnover, strengthening investment cooperation and implementing new joint projects was noted.
