Virtual talks held with Holland Rosetta Founder
15:10 / 2021-03-22

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov held a videoconference with the Founder/CEO of Holland Rosetta (Netherlands) Frederique Vogel.

The parties discussed the progress of the company’s projects in Uzbekistan and expanding its presence in the country’s market.

Frederique Vogel noted that currently, the company has practically completed the project to create a demonstration garden in Samarkand region together with the Samarkand Garden company.

According to Frederique Vogel, the area of the demo garden is about 0.5 hectares, in which about 800 cherry and pear seedlings have been planted, which have taken root well on the Uzbek land. The investments of the Dutch side amounted to 50 thousand euros. The next stage of the project is the creation of a modern system of fertilizing irrigation and sun protection.

At the beginning of the next year, within the framework of the project, the company will send its specialist to Uzbekistan to conduct training for Uzbekistan farmers on the technologies of growing and caring for intensive orchards, since they are fundamentally different from traditional methods of cultivating orchards and allow achieving maximum yields.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of Holland Rosetta CEO to Uzbekistan to get acquainted with the progress of the project in Samarkand region, as well as explore opportunities for expanding the company’s interaction with partners in Uzbekistan.
