The games of the first round of the 45th FIDE Chess Olympiad, held in the capital of Hungary, Budapest, ended with success for the chess players of Uzbekistan.

The men’s team of Uzbekistan played against the team of Trinidad and Tobago, and the women’s team played against the team of Haiti.

As a result, the men’s team of Uzbekistan beat the team of Trinidad and Tobago by 2.5:0.5.

In the first-round competition among women, Uzbekistan’s chess players beat their opponents with a significant advantage.
