The national team of Uzbekistan won two gold, two bronze and one silver medals at Greco-Roman Wrestling Grand Prix among adults, in Zagreb, Croatia.

The national team of Uzbekistan won two gold, two bronze and one silver medals at Greco-Roman Wrestling Grand Prix among adults, in Zagreb, Croatia.

Participants of the tournament – 200 athletes from 20 countries competed to get the license for the upcoming Olympic Games in Japan.

In the weight category up to 63 kilograms, Uzbekistan’s Islomjon Bakhromov defeated US representative Xavier Johnson in the final match and won the gold medal. In the same category, in the fight for bronze, another representative of Uzbekistan Feruz Tukhtayev defeated American Travis Rice.

Talented athlete Yelmurat Tasmuradov in the weight category up to 67 kilograms defeated the Romania’s Radu Mihut and won the gold medal.

Uzbekistan’s Muminjon Abdullayev and Jakhongir Turdiyev won silver and bronze medals.

In the overall team standings, Uzbekistan’s national team took the second place. The national team of Turkey took the first, and Croatia’s national team the third places.
