Our Uzbek chess player Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova won three gold medals and proved that she is the best in her age group in the Asia. In the classic chess championship, she has got 7,5 points out of 9 and won games against Diana Omurbekova, Aizhan Alymbay kyzy, Elina Samudin (all from Kyrgyzstan), Dharia Parnali, G.K.Monnisha, Nanditha (all from India), Mahdian Anousha (Iran) and play to draw with Ivana Maria Furtado (India). In the blitz championship, Gulrukhbegim got 8,5 out of 9 and in the rapid championship – 6 points out of 7.

Another chess player of Uzbekistan Nodirbek Yokubboev also won gold medals in the Asian Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships.
