A group of representatives of the older generation and labor veterans were presented badges "Mehnat fakhriysi", in Samarkand regional khokimiyat.

The honorary badge, awarded this year for the first time, was presented to 70 veterans from Samarkand region.

Chairman of the regional branch of “Nuroniy” Fund, H.Normurodov and others noted that in Uzbekistan special attention is paid to respect and care for the older generation, and further improvement of their living conditions. According to relevant resolution and the decree of the Head of the state, activities of “Nuroniy” Fund were improved, and a large-scale work is being carried out in the sphere of social protection of World War II participants and labor veterans.

At the event the badges "Mehnat fakhriysi" of the I, II, III degrees were solemnly presented to their owners.
