Veterans of the Armed Forces have met cadets. This event was held by the Jizzakh automobile school under the Jizzakh Regional council of the Vatanparvar defence assistance organization of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by veterans of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, graduates of the automobile school who are currently doing military service and cadets. It was said at the event that military service had become a real school for toughening up young people.

The Jizzakh automobile school makes a worthy contribution to training young people in military-technical professions and bringing them up in the spirit of patriotism.

In the process of reforms being implemented in the country’s Armed Forces, the material-technical bases of training centres, schools and sports clubs functioning within the structure of the Vatanparvar defence assistance organization were strengthened, and their educational programmes were improved.

The building of the Jizzakh automobile school was renovated, and its class rooms and training areas were provided with modern equipment. This automobile school trains 150 military drivers and 50 military equestrians for the country’s national army every year. More than 2 thousand young people train at automobile schools of the Vatanparvar defence assistance organization functioning in districts and towns.

“Thanks to reforms that have been conducted, our children have secondary special education degrees and specific professions when they go to military service. This plays an important role in learning to use modern military hardware,” says Askar Sharipov, a veteran of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the event, holiday gifts were presented to military service veterans. Letters of gratitude were given to the parents of soldiers who had graduated from the automobile school and were doing army service in an exemplary manner.
