Sports veterans who were directly involved in the development of Uzbek judo were invited to the meeting organized on the occasion of this event, who are still working on training young athletes.

Responsible persons congratulated those present on the 31^st Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence and spoke about the significance and tasks facing the Veterans Council.

The participants of the event considered the organizational issue. Based on the suggestions, an experienced coach, holder of the “Dustlik” (Friendship) Order, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and 7th Degree Black Belt holder Lev Yugay was unanimously elected Chairman of the Veterans Council at Uzbekistan Judo Federation.

The Council also included more than 15 veteran coaches and athletes.
