Youth festival under the motto “Values, traditions, customs and youth”, organized at academic lyceum No.5 under Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, was held in a high spirit.

Youth festival under the motto “Values, traditions, customs and youth”, organized at academic lyceum No. 5 under Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, was held in a high spirit. The event, organized by Shaykhantakhur district Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, was attended by activists, teachers, mentors, artists and youth.

Teams of 8 professional colleges, 4 academic lyceums and 2 schools demonstrated traditions of different regions at the festival. Members of the jury, consisting of experienced professionals, appreciated festive table prepared by participants, decorated in national style, theatrical scenes reflecting customs and traditions. Championship on cooking pilaf and kite competitions were also held.

At the event, festive table was also laid for lonely elderly people, people in need of social assistance, low-income families.

Winning teams were identified and awarded with diplomas, household appliances produced in Uzbekistan.
