Vaccination against coronavirus will begin in Uzbekistan on April 1.

This was announced at the briefing by the deputy head of the Service of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Nurmat Otabekov.

He noted that currently 660 thousand doses of AstraZeneca vaccine produced in India have been delivered to the country. Deliveries of the Russian “Sputnik V” and the Chinese-Uzbekistan ZF-UZ-VAC 2001 are also expected.
