UZSUNGWOO launches the hot metal processing line

The UZSUNGWOO joint venture has launched the hot metal processing line in Central Asia with a project cost of $10 million, in Fergana.

The workshop is fully automated, equipped with technology for hot pressing and laser cutting of companies such as Schuler, Prima Power, Benteler and Aotto.

As a result of the launch of the new line, the annual production volume of the enterprise will reach $95 million. The introduction of such a unique technological process in Central Asia made it possible to localize 20 types of components for Tracker and Onix cars manufactured in Uzbekistan. The hot metal processing line will annually produce 2.4 million pieces of products worth more than $19 million. 120 jobs have been created. The company employs over 900 people.

The total volume of investments attracted to the region by the UZSUNGWOO joint venture has reached almost $60 million. The company, which occupies a strong position in the automotive industry of Uzbekistan, has been producing more than 300 types of stamped-welded parts for cars manufactured in Uzbekistan for 10 years.
