Experts from the OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission arrived in Uzbekistan to assess the pre-election situation for the upcoming Presidential elections in the country in October 2021, including preparations for the elections.

The Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP hosted a meeting between the leadership of the party and the experts of the mission, Alexey Gromov, OSCE/ODIHR Senior Election Adviser and Martina Barker-Ciganikova, OSCE/ODIHR Election Adviser.

According to UzLiDeP Press Service, the experts were informed about the current state of UzLiDeP and the implementation of the Pre-election program, as well as the work with the electorate. The parties exchanged views on the current issues of the process of preparing UzLiDeP for the upcoming Presidential Elections.

The talks were held in a constructive atmosphere.
