The exhibition, organized by Turkey’s SOFUAR company with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as the Agency for the Development of Horticulture and Greenhouses, demonstrates greenhouses and irrigation systems.
Systematic work is being carried out in Uzbekistan to support horticulture and greenhouses, introducing a cluster system in the development of viticulture. Cooperation with Turkish enterprises will be fruitful for the introduction of advanced technologies in this area.
The exhibition pursues these goals. Enterprises and leading companies from Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and other countries producing greenhouses and irrigation systems are taking part in it. The companies offer the latest technologies in this field, drip irrigation equipment, seeds and seedlings, agrochemical products.
It was noted that the cooperation of Turkey and Uzbekistan companies in agriculture gives its positive results. The cultivation of corn also has great success. If earlier 12 tons of corn per hectare were received per year, now this figure has reached 22 tons per hectare.
The event also included B2B meetings between Uzbekistan and Turkish companies and agricultural producers.
