The international exhibition UzFood-2023 has kicked off at the Central Exhibition Complex “Uzexpocentre”, in Tashkent.

The event is organized with the support of Iteca Exhibitions and several official organizations. The speakers noted that the exhibition will become a platform for mutual dialogue and cooperation between local and foreign organizations, companies and enterprises working in this direction.

Nigora Khasanova, Director General of Iteca Exhibitions noted that UzFood has been paying attention to the comprehensive support of local producers for many years of its activity in accordance with the reforms implemented by Uzbekistan in the development of the industry.

“The presentation of the exhibition is carried out by more than 280 companies from 26 countries of the world. This year, permanent participants of the exhibition will make up 60 percent, and those participating for the first time – 40 percent”,  she said.

At the exhibition, participants are getting acquainted with products from meat and poultry, milk, confectionery, as well as a wide range of equipment for meat processing, dairy, oil and fat, confectionery industry, baking and cooling.

For example, the Sri Lanka Tea Board stand not only introduces different varieties of Ceylon tea, but also offers to try them. Varieties of tea with different flavors are important for improving a person’s health and mood.

At the exhibition, the Beresteysky Pekar JSC of Belarus presents its bakery and confectionery products.
