The 24th UzBuild 2023 International Construction Exhibition, a flagship event of the construction industry in Uzbekistan, will roll out its exposition from February 28 to March 3, 2023, in all pavilions and the outdoor areas of Uzexpocentre NEC.
350 companies from 22 countries are participating in the exhibition, organized by Iteca Exhibitions and several official organizations.
As noted at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, today, when construction and reconstruction of residential buildings, industrial and social facilities are actively underway in Uzbekistan, particular attention will be attracted by solutions to ensure high-quality execution of construction works using the modern building and finishing materials, equipment, innovations, such as “smart home”, “green technologies”, etc.
As the Iteca Exhibitions Director General Nigora Khasanova noted, by its scale and number of participants, UzBuild 2023 confidently maintains its position as the No. 1 exhibition in Uzbekistan and the region.
“As compared to last year, the exposition has doubled and occupied 15,000 square meters covering all exhibition pavilions, as well as an outdoor area. This year, a record number of participants has been registered – 350 companies from 22 countries such as Austria, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, PRC, the Republic of Korea, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, the United States, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Finland, and Switzerland. The domestic market will be also adequately represented by both regular participants and debutants: Uzmetkombinat JSC, Akhangarancement JSC, Durable Beton LLC, AKFA Group, Tashkent Metallurgical Plant LLC, and others are among the local companies presenting their products at the exhibition. The top 5 participants among foreign countries include Russia (88 companies), Türkiye (60 companies), and Germany (36 companies), which are represented by their National Pavilions, PRC (30 companies), and Italy (22 companies). Turkish companies are presenting new products in construction, construction equipment, and technologies. At the German national stand, the leading manufacturers of machines, equipment, materials, and technologies for construction will present the best developments under the trademark “MADE IN GERMANY”. A comprehensive exposition of metal structures, windows and doors, varnishes and paints, natural and artificial stone, concrete and asphalt products, decorative facing materials, sandwich panels, engineering services, etc. will be unfolded at the stands of Uzbek companies”, says Ms. Khasanova.
The Azia Metall Prof LLC of Samarkand region is also presenting its products at this exhibition. The head of the enterprise, Parviz Sobirov, notes that today the enterprise’s products are exported to 12 countries.
“The company, which employs 850 people, produces 17 types of construction products. Such exhibitions create a great opportunity for us, that is, we find buyers for our products, get to know manufacturers, and get informed about industry news", said Mr. Sobirov.
Another participant in the exhibition, the General Manager of China’s Yongfeng Cellulose, Dong Yun Li, noted that he has been working together with his Uzbek partners for three years.
“We are taking part in the exhibition in Uzbekistan for the third time’, Dong Yun Li said. – Our company is a professional manufacturer of cellulose ether. It also includes research and development, production, sales, and export trade. The company, which started its activity in 2010, today exports its products to countries such as the United States, India, Egypt, and Uzbekistan. Cellulose is widely used in the production of construction products. Therefore, today’s exhibition serves to develop our business together with our Uzbek partners.
As part of the exhibition, the 4th ICCI 2023 International Conference of Construction Industry is being held. Representatives of leading construction companies and international experts are discussing the most relevant aspects of the construction industry.
