“UzBuild 2026”: a platform for cooperation among manufacturers
10:07 / 2026-02-11

The 27th International Uzbekistan Exhibition “Construction – UzBuild 2026” opened at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex in Tashkent.

The exhibition, held as part of the Uzbekistan Construction and Interior Week, has brought together 450 companies from 22 countries, including the United States, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Georgia, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Latvia, Malta, and Azerbaijan.

As part of the Construction and Interior Week, organized by Iteca Exhibitions and its partner ICA Eurasia Group, the specialized section “BuildTech 2026 – Construction Equipment and Technologies” and the International Forum of the Construction Industry of Uzbekistan are also being held.

As noted by Deputy Director General of Iteca Exhibitions Oyimkhon Bobojonova, the construction industry plays an important role in regional economic development and contributes to creating new jobs.

“At present, the construction sector has become one of the leading branches of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s economy. It accounts for 7 percent of the gross domestic product. The steady growth of the sector has spurred rapid development in the building materials industry. To successfully carry out construction work at such a scale and implement major projects such as “New Tashkent” and “New Uzbekistan”, innovative materials and solutions are required. The main goal of the “UzBuild” exhibition is to demonstrate a wide range of innovative approaches. This process is confirmed by the expanding geography of participants and the steady growth in the quality and diversity of the products and technologies presented”, said Ms. Bobojonova.

More than 80 local manufacturers are taking part in the exhibition, presenting products including aerated concrete, sandwich panels, stone products, construction chemicals, windows and doors, flooring, elevators and escalators, and façade systems.

The exhibition will run until February 12.
