As part of an official visit to the United States, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with Bruce McClelland, President and CEO of Ribbon Communications.

The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop cooperation in telecommunications and cybersecurity. The agreement outlines measures to implement an anti-spoofing system within Uzbektelecom networks, as well as to develop and deploy modern cybersecurity solutions.

The document is expected to enhance security in the digital space, create a reliable environment for information exchange, and introduce advanced technological solutions.
