Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the World Bank representatives met as part of Uzbekistan Energy Week.

The parties discussed the possibilities of investing in projects to improve energy efficiency, increase gas production, and reduce methane emissions.

At the meeting, information was presented on projects aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of Uzbekneftegaz JSC facilities and reducing methane emissions.

It was noted that the reforms carried out in the country in this area are bringing results, and cooperation with foreign companies is strengthening.

Following the meeting, representatives of the World Bank emphasized their readiness to provide financial assistance for projects to reduce methane emissions implemented by Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
