Uzbekistan’s young chess players were welcomed in Tashkent, who performed successfully at the FIDE U9-U17 Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship, held in Antalya, Türkiye.

The tournament, held from December 16 to 21, brought together 314 chess players from 33 countries. Uzbekistan was represented by 36 talented players who demonstrated strong performances. 

As a result of the tournament, the national team won 5 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals, securing first place in the overall team standings.
