At the traditional judo tournament “Bremen Masters”, held in Germany, 3 members of the national youth team of Uzbekistan, trained under the leadership of head coach Iskandar Rasulov, climbed to the podium.
More than 600 young judokas from 25 countries participated in these prestigious competitions, which have been held for 40 years. According to the final results, Mardon Ravshanov, a member of the Uzbekistan team, defeated all his rivals and won the gold medal in the 81 kg weight category.

Ravshanov defeated Suzuki from Japan in the semifinals and Brazilian Luan Almeida in the final. Alisher Samanov, who performed on the tatami in the 90 kg weight category, competed with Azerbaijani Aslan Kotsoev and was awarded silver.
Khojiakbar Toshev, who defended the country’s honor in the 73 kg weight category, won a bronze medal.

The Uzbekistan national team ranked in the top three in the overall team competition. The Azerbaijani national team, which participated in the tournament with a large number of participants, won 4 gold and 3 bronze medals and took 1st place. The Japanese team, the country that is the birthplace of judo, won 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, taking second place.
