Yakutsk hosted the WT Taekwondo Championships within the framework of the Children of Asia International Sports Games.

On the last day of the championships, the Uzbekistan youth national team won two gold, silver, and two bronze medals.

Uzbekistan’s young athletes won four gold, three silver, and two bronze medals and took first place in the team events, overtaking the Russian and Belarus national teams. Behruz Salimov, Omadbek Otabekov, Akhadjon Mukhtarov, and Sofia Khan became gold medalists. Jakhongir Serikbayev, Khudoynazar Shodmonov, and Feruza Ernazarova won silver, and Valeria Hegai and Mubina Bobosaidova won bronze medals.
